Log in, save seating charts, and keep notes on your class

Guest mode is fine for a quick chart. When you teach the same class all year, you want login, class lists, saved layouts, and notes that travel with the students.

Log in and create a class

Sign in to Klassekart, then create a named class (for example “7A” or “Math period 2”). Your chart stays tied to that class instead of only living in one browser.

Add students to the class

Paste or enter the class list once. Students belong to the class, so you can rebuild or reshuffle seats without retyping names every time.

Save seating charts and look back

The live layout can autosave. You can also save named snapshots — after a rotation, before a substitute day, or at term start — and open older charts later when you need the previous plan.

Impressions and important seating notes

Add short notes and impressions for what matters in the room: who needs to sit next to the door, who should be near the board, or which pair works well together. Those details stay with the class so the next reshuffle is informed, not guesswork.
